This morning Adam and I poked around the still-cobbled roads enjoying a slow pace and a non-scheduled agenda. Our hotel, Le Saint-Sulpice Hôtel Montréal, was located walking distance from the Notre-Dame and Old Montreal’s many inviting boutiques and cafes.
A real treat for the senses, the food in French Canada does not disappoint. Producers, processors, chefs, and grocers combine pleasure, passion, yes passion (because cheese is serious business here) and know-how to conjure up one-of-a-kind experiences. If you enjoy warm french bread with foie gras as much as I, you too will throw all calorie inhibition out the proverbial window and embrace the French joie de vivre.
