From Montreal to Quebec City

This afternoon we are leaving Montreal for Quebec City. But first, a little AM sightseeing in Old Montreal, or Vieux-Montréal, as they would say here in French Canada.

This morning Adam and I poked around the still-cobbled roads enjoying a slow pace and a non-scheduled agenda. Our hotel, Le Saint-Sulpice Hôtel Montréal, was located walking distance from the Notre-Dame and Old Montreal’s many inviting boutiques and cafes.

A real treat for the senses, the food in French Canada does not disappoint. Producers, processors, chefs, and grocers combine pleasure, passion, yes passion (because cheese is serious business here) and know-how to conjure up one-of-a-kind experiences. If you enjoy warm french bread with foie gras as much as I, you too will throw all calorie inhibition out the proverbial window and embrace the French joie de vivre.

I am wearing a lace, belled-sleeve blouse by Nanette Lepore with RtA jeans. The fur accessory is by Vincent Pradier.

We are now on the train traveling through the Canadian countryside to Quebec City…

Au revoir!
Cheers,

Sara
