Happy Tuesday, all! It is almost mid-week and I am trying to get super organized. Once Halloween hits it will be a dead sprint to Christmas! I can already smell the fake pine needles in the air as the retail chains prepare for the holiday launch. I am also trying to make the most of this stretch of beautiful fall weather! We are going on lots of evening walks, hitting all the local orchards, and carving the last of our Jack-o’-lanterns.
Now is the time to wear more transitional pieces such as the cut out sweater. I am not saying I am OPPOSED to wearing cut outs come winter, but being a life-long Midwesterner I know the January temperatures might be better suited to wool and cashmere versus cotton.
This particular sweater is by designer J.O.A. Los Angeles. J.O.A. creates runway inspired clothing that is both easy to wear and much more affordable. If you look closely at the detail this sweater is slit on the sides. Although a relaxed fit, this feature makes the sweater a little more interesting. I am wearing a size extra-small. Again, this sweater is boyfriend cut.
The color of this sweater is a blue-ish gray and looks great with… you guessed it! Cream.
