“Fashion changes, but style endures.” Coco Chanel
Happy Tuesday, you all!
Today’s post is inspired by timeless fashion icon, Coco Chanel. Like Mademoiselle Chanel, some things are always en vogue. Red lips. A signature perfume. A mink stole.
The featured 1950’s luxury mink fur capelet is a classic. This honey and caramel-colored vintage stole was given to me as a gift a couple of birthdays ago. It came from an estate sale and is among my most favorite gifts ever received. Gift giving is such an art form! I think fondly of the friend who gave me this rare find each and every time I wear it. I especially love that this exquisite find is one-of-a-kind.
This particular photography session was so much fun because Adam was the photographer. As you can likely tell from Scarlett’s expressions, she loves her daddy! Today’s featured look is perfect for a visit to see Santa Claus, a festive holiday party, a Christmas church service, or an annual Nutcracker viewing!
Scarlett’s stole, a modern-day faux fur capelet, is from The Children’s Place. Her dress, hair bow and shoes are all from Kid Oh!, a children’s store located on the second floor of Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
